When routines were first introduced, you could only trigger them with a short phrase. Now you can create routines that run on a schedule. That means you can now wake up to specific music, the news or radio and turn on the lights at the same time every morning. ADB and Fastboot are multi-purpose command-line tools.
You can add up to 6 bulbs on each speakers and displays. You can now control your lights with your speaker or display. If your Smart TV has the Google Assistant built-in or you have a Google Home Nest or Home Mini, you can control it easily using voice commands. Below is a list of Google Assistant commands that you can use. I have written a dedicated article on describing all Smart TV voice commands including Bixby and Alexa.
Your Cheat Sheet to Google Home Commands
You can tap this toggle to turn each shortcut on or off without deleting it. This is particularly handy if you need to troubleshoot a shortcut. Once you’re done, tap Save at the top of the screen. For instance, on Fedora/SUSE and Debian/Ubuntu, you don’t need to download the Android SDK Platform-Tools. Instead, you can use a command in the Terminal to install ADB drivers directly. Make sure your speaker or display, and Philips Hue bridge, are on the same Wi-Fi network and connected to the same router. The signal between your bulb and your speaker or display might not be strong enough. To increase the signal strength, move the bulb and your speaker or display closer to each other. They should be no more than 15 feet apart. (This will remove all your GE bulbs. This currently doesn't support the removal of individual C by GE light bulbs).

For example, to start a personal Routine when you dismiss an alarm, you must have a speaker, Smart Display, or Smart Clock that you can set an alarm on. When you set up Routines, you and members of your home can get help from Google Assistant with tasks throughout the day. Schedule a Routine for when you need it, or start it whenever you want, and Google Assistant can automatically do multiple actions. You’ll see a list of suggested shortcuts that you can automatically enable or customize.
In these Linux distributions, you are supposed to add “./” before ADB commands. Thus, you have to use ./adb devices in place of adb devices. If you're like me and have multiple Echo devices in the same area, then you already know how annoying it can be to yell, "Alexa!" and have every device compete for your attention. If you have two or more devices in the same vicinity, then it's best to give each one its own wake word. You can also change the order of the actions in a particular routine Tap on a routine and then on the option that says “Change Order.” You’ll see a list of all the actions. Long-press and slide the actions to the order you want.
